Why was Garimpo created?
The idea was born from the need to centralize essential tools and data in one place, reducing friction and “tab switching”. The goal is to provide more clarity and speed when analyzing and deciding.
Is Garimpo in beta?
Yes. Garimpo is in beta and evolves continuously, so some screens and features may change. If something breaks or you have suggestions, send them via Feedback/Support — it helps a lot.
Is Garimpo free?
Yes, for now (during beta). If usage grows and it makes sense, there may be a charge in the future (paid plan or some support format) to help cover infrastructure and keep Garimpo alive.
Where does the data come from?
Garimpo combines multiple data sources to calculate and/or generate the data you see. In some cases we rely on governmental or regulatory sources; in others we use third-party providers outside our control. Availability and latency can vary, so we operate on a best-effort basis and may switch providers as needed.
Why can AI Analysis be temporarily unavailable?
AI Analysis uses external providers (Google AI Studio / Gemini) and is subject to rate limits. To keep the system stable and fair, Garimpo enforces: (1) a per-user hourly quota and (2) a global concurrency limit. If you hit a limit, wait a bit and try again. Results are cached for some hours to reduce repeated calls.
Is data real-time?
No. Relying on free sources means there may be a delay in quotes. The system updates data in the background at regular intervals, so you have near real-time (NRT) information, but it is not designed for Day Trading or high-frequency operations.
Can I use Garimpo outside Brazil?
Garimpo is focused primarily on the Brazilian market (B3, FIIs, etc.), but we also support international tickers. Coverage and depth may vary by region and provider. If you notice gaps or have suggestions, send them via Feedback/Support.
I forgot my password, how do I recover it?
Currently, there is no password recovery. To keep the product simple and with low operational cost, we do not maintain email/SMS infrastructure. Keep your password safe and, if you lose access, create another account.
Are inactive accounts deleted?
Yes. To keep the system lightweight, accounts that remain inactive (no login) for more than 90 days may be removed.
Is my personal data safe?
We do not store sensitive personal data. Garimpo is focused on analysis and tracking; the “Average Price” is saved only for your visualization and profitability calculation on the platform.
Is there automatic integration with B3?
We do not plan direct integration with B3 (CEI/Investor Area). The Average Price must be entered manually by you, which simplifies the product and increases privacy.
Is Garimpo a portfolio manager?
No. The proposal is not to replace complete portfolio managers. Garimpo focuses on being an agile analysis and tracking tool to support decisions.
Why not put this information on the login screen?
To keep the authentication experience more direct and fast. A separate public page also makes it easier to share Garimpo and understand the proposal before creating an account.
How does Feedback/Support work?
After logging in, use the
Feedback/Support button on the top bar to open a ticket (bug, suggestion or request). You can track tickets in
My tickets and also at
/support.
How do I start?
Create an account, log in and add your tickers. From there, use the overview, macro/market, charts and screener to track and compare.
Why is my wallet (My Wallet) empty?
The “My Wallet” tab displays only the assets for which you have defined an Average Price. If you have not yet configured the average price of an asset, it may appear in “All” (Everyone), but not in your personalized wallet.
What is My Wallet?
My Wallet shows only assets where you set an Average Price.
What is Rank?
Rank is a general composite score based on fundamentals (lower is better). It appears only where enough data exists (Stocks and FIIs).
What is My Rank?
My Rank is a personalized version of Rank that also factors in your Wallet assets, so it reflects your position in that asset. It appears only where enough data exists (Stocks and FIIs).
Usage Policy and Abuse
The system is public and we count on everyone's collaboration. Avoid abusive use. If we detect activities that compromise stability, we may terminate the account and/or block the IP without prior notice.
Is there a limit on the number of tickers?
Yes. To protect the system from abuse, we have a safe limit of 50 tickers per user. If you need to increase this value, please raise a ticket via Feedback/Support explaining the reasons.
How does the import from Investidor10 work?
This feature allows you to update your Average Prices in Garimpo using the export file from Investidor10. It reads the Excel (.xlsx) file, identifies assets (Stocks, FIIs, Crypto) present in your Garimpo portfolio, and updates only the Average Price field. It does not add new tickers automatically, it only updates the prices of those you are already tracking.
